Have you ever wanted to be part of a big Italian family? We would love for you to consider joining us and becoming one of our Lodge brothers and sisters. The “Sons of Italy” is a national organization of men and women who represent an estimated 17 million Americans of Italian heritage. We are dedicated to promoting Italian culture, traditions, language, and the legacy of our ancestors, as well as our contributions to the U.S. and the world.

The Order was established in 1905 in New York City and currently has over 700 chapters across the country. We are a cultural, social, and charitable organization. Although the order primarily consists of people of Italian descent, anyone is welcome to join as a social member.

Our mission includes encouraging the study of Italian language and culture in American schools and universities; preserving Italian American traditions, culture,
history, and heritage; and promoting closer cultural relations between the United States and Italy.

NYS GRAND LODGE MEMBERSHIP:

If you don’t live near a local lodge, At-Large Membership is a great option! Dues are just $40 a year. Give the gift of an At-Large Membership to friends and family. At Large Members are entitled to all benefits (with the exception of those specific to lodge membership, for example, the right to hold office in the organization.)

Our Lodges

Our filial lodges are local extensions of our NY Grand Lodge and National Supreme Lodge, bringing together men and women proud of their Italian heritage and dedicated to preserving our culture, traditions, language, and legacy while honoring Italian American contributions.
